California History Day

The students attending California History Day at the Kern County Museum will have the opportunity to step back in time to when the first European explorers and the settlers that followed them came to the southern San Joaquin Valley. The California History Day has been designed to support the student’s learning of our state’s early history from the days of the first explorers to the early twentieth century. It is not intended to be a complete history, but to support the course of instruction set forth by the state framework and provide concrete learning experiences that students will remember for years to come.
