Glennville, California

Glennville is a community located about 30 miles northeast of Bakersfield on the Bakersfield-Glennville Road. It may have been named for James Madison Glenn who came to California in 1854, settled in Linn's Valley in 1857, and established the area's first blacksmith shop in the vicinity.
