Greenfield

Named for the historic Greenfields Ranch, Greenfield was a small community located 7 miles south of Bakersfield near the intersection of U. S. Highway 99 and Panama Road. It came into existence in the early 1900s, and a post office known as Del Kern (named for Kern Delta) was established there in 1948.
