Inyokern

Located about 8 miles west of Ridgcrest, Inyokern was a railroad town that grew during the construction of the Los Angeles Aqueduct between 1903 and 1913. Originally called Siding 16, then Magnolia, the name was changed to Inyokern because of its location near the boarder of Inyo and Kern Boarder.
