Railroad Scale House
This structure, built around
1900, was used in the Santa Fe Rail Road switch yard to weigh railroad
cars. The Scale House was located on Railroad Avenue near F Street in
downtown Bakersfield. This building was donated in 1963 by the Santa Fe
Company.
