Albert E. Brumley, Jr.
Albert Brumley Jr. began playing Country Music in the 1940s. He came to Fresno in 1957 to join Dave Stogner’s band the Rhythmaires. In 1959, Brumley moved to Bakersfield to work with KUZZin Herb Henson on the Trading Post Show on KERO-TV. He left the Trading Post Show in 1962 to work on a solo album in Nashville. He joined Jimmy Thomason’s band performing on The Jimmy Thomason Show from 1966 - 1970. His credits include recording some of his father’s (Albert Brumley Sr.) gospel songs, writing and recording his own gospel songs, and creating an album with Merle Haggard entitled, Two Old Friends. Brumley wore this shirt while performing on the Trading Post Show.
