Frontier Life

  • 3rd – 6th grade curriculum
  • 2.5 Hours
  • $7.00 per child

Join us as we learn about the chores, crafts, and fun that made up life on the frontier.  Costumed docents will lead tours in many Pioneer Village buildings, make your own butter and try it on a biscuit, grind coffee, milk a “cow” and rope a “calf”.  These activities, along with western re-enactment groups, are just some in which your students will participate, making this a day you and your students will never forget!

And your students can bring their families back the next day and teach them what they have learned!!  Each child will receive a coupon for free admission on Saturday with a paying adult.

Dates:  Friday, April 12, 2013 and Saturday, April 13, 2013 – Bring the whole family for a day of fun!!

Time: 9:00 -11:30 a.m.
